The Role
8club's first dedicated PM. You'll own the product roadmap, define what gets built and why, and relentlessly chase the metrics that matter retention, engagement, and the magic moment when someone first realises 8club is indispensable to their social life.
Why This Role Matters
Both founders are currently making product decisions between a hundred other things. You free them up and ensure that user research, data, and intuition are all represented in every decision we ship.
What You'll Do
Own the product roadmap prioritise ruthlessly and explain why, not just what
Define product requirements with enough detail that engineers and designers can ship confidently
Run continuous user research: interviews, usability tests, and in-field observation at 8club events
Collaborate daily with engineering and design to move fast without breaking the experience
Own product metrics define them, track them, and build feedback loops around them
Work with marketing and growth to ensure the product supports acquisition and retention loops
Run structured A/B experiments and build a culture of evidence-based decision making
What We're Looking For
3+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech product
Strong analytical chops- you're comfortable in data tools and can form a hypothesis and test it
Excellent written communication- your PRDs are read, not skimmed
You've shipped features used by at least 100K+ users
You understand the difference between a feature request and a user need
Deep empathy for users — you want to go out, you understand why people do and don't
Bonus Points
Experience with social apps, event platforms, or consumer marketplaces
Understanding of growth mechanics: viral loops, referral systems, retention hooks
Prior experience at an early-stage startup (Series A or earlier)
