The Role
You'll build and lead 8club's marketing function from the ground up. You own distribution strategy, brand voice, team structure, and the growth engine that takes us from 200K to 1M+ users. This is an operator-plus-strategist role.

What You'll Do
Define and execute 8club's marketing strategy across paid, organic, and brand channels
Build and manage the marketing team — creative strategist, performance marketer, social lead, and designer
Own the editorial calendar and ensure content quality, consistency, and platform-fit across Instagram, Reels, and new channels
Lead brand partnership and IP strategy — unlock revenue while protecting brand equity
Manage marketing budgets and ROAS across paid campaigns
Build relationships with press, influencers, venue partners, and meme communities
Report to founders on marketing performance with clear attribution and learning loops
What We're Looking For
5+ years of marketing experience, including team management
Deep understanding of Instagram-first growth and FOMO-led distribution mechanics
Experience managing performance marketing campaigns with real budget ownership
Strong creative instincts — you know what's culturally relevant before it trends
You've built or scaled a community or brand from scratch, not just maintained one
Excellent stakeholder communication — you can sell internally and externally
Bonus Points
Prior experience at a consumer lifestyle or social brand
Existing relationships in India's nightlife, F&B, or events ecosystem
Experience building marketing-led viral IPs or experiential campaigns
AI & Tools We Use
