You write the words that make people want to go out. From invite copy and push notifications to Instagram captions and campaign headlines — your writing has to make people feel something.

8club's voice is a product. Every word is a brand impression. A great caption can drive 5x more RSVPs. The copywriter shapes how 8club feels to the world.
What You'll Do
Write copy for all 8club touchpoints: in-app, push notifications, emails, Instagram, and campaigns
Develop and maintain 8club's tone of voice guidelines in collaboration with the creative team
Brief and edit copy written by other team members for consistency and quality
Rapidly generate copy variants for A/B testing on notifications, headlines, and CTAs
Write long-form content when required — event descriptions, brand collaborations, press materials
What We're Looking For
2–4 years of copywriting experience at a brand, agency, or content-led startup
Portfolio demonstrating range: short punchy copy AND longer storytelling pieces
You understand the difference between clever copy and effective copy — and you write both
Native-level English fluency; understanding of how young India communicates online
Comfortable working under tight deadlines with multiple briefs in flight
Bonus Points
Experience writing for apps or digital products (UX copy)
Hindi / Hinglish copywriting capability
Experience in nightlife, food, or lifestyle verticals
AI & Tools We Use
Claude / ChatGPT as a creative writing collaborator
Notion for copy management and versioning
Figma for in-context copy review with design
